Update your user ID, phone number, and contact information for Intuit

Learn how to change your user ID and contact information for QuickBooks Desktop, Point of Sale, and other Intuit products.

Do you need to change the email address for your account? If you do or have already done so, then updating your user ID and contact info is the next step. This is necessary so you can use your new email address to sign in to your products and services, as well as receive email notifications from us.

If you need to change your company info (such as the address), follow these steps.

Update your user ID and contact info #

QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Point of Sale #

1. Go to camps.intuit.com.
   Note: Can’t sign in? Check My Account: Sign in for help.
2. Choose the product or service you’d like to manage.

   To update your user ID

   1. Go to the company name drop-down menu, then select My Profile.
   2. Select Edit on the User ID field, then enter your new email address.
   3. Enter your password in the Password field, then select Save.

   To update your contact info

   1. Go to the company name drop-down menu, then choose the correct company.
   2. Scroll down and look for Authorized Users list, then select Edit.
   3. Enter your new email address, then Save.
      Note: You’ll receive an email verification on the email address you entered earlier.
3. If you want to edit your Email address, Password, Phone number, and Personal Info select Edit next to these fields to update them.

Quickbooks Online and QuickBooks Self-Employed #

TurboTax and Mint #

1. Go to accounts.intuit.com.
2. Select Edit on the User ID field, then enter your new email address.
3. Enter your password in the Password field, then select Save.
   Note: You will receive an email verification on the email address you entered earlier.
4. If you want to edit your email address, password, phone number, and personal info select Edit next to these fields to update them.
