The Digital Marketing Specialist will help build brand awareness and drive web traffic/sales through strategy, execution, and reporting on all digital marketing channels (SEM, SEO, Affiliate, Social) at Avelo. The Specialist will have a proven track record within paid marketing channels, be able to think strategically and tactically, and be comfortable with the fast-paced environment of a new airline.
Create and launch campaigns across various ads platforms such as Google, Microsoft, Verizon Media, Facebook, and Instagram.
Closely monitor, manage, report on, and provide recommendations for each digital channel/campaign.
Based off the recommendations make changes to the budgets, creative, ad sets, and campaigns to reach revenue goals while maintaining the targeted budget.
Continuously identify new SEM opportunities by analyzing existing content, keywords and data/traffic analysis.
Ensure tracking is being done correctly for each individual channel.
Work with the creative team to determine the best performing creative for each channel.
Generate weekly and monthly reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking and revenue tracking and present metrics/KPIs to other team members and leadership.
Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in search engine marketing and search engine optimization.
Well versed in performance marketing, PPC advertising, and customer acquisition.
Must be able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and deliver effective ecommerce solutions & project enhancements quickly.
Strong written & verbal communication skills.

Proven experience building and launching campaigns in various SEM platforms including: Google Ads, Bing, Facebook/Instagram, Verizon Media, etc.
Strong analytical skills and experience generating SEM/paid channel reporting and competitive insights.
Experience with website analytic tools such as Google Analytics.
Familiarity with multivariate experiments.
Ability to track campaign expenses, stay on budget, and estimate monthly costs.
Ensure SEM/SEO best practices are properly implemented and tracked.
Thorough knowledge and experience in the following ecommerce subjects:
Digital performance metrics and attribution
A/B multivariate testing for digital campaigns
Teamwork, communication skills, leadership, analytical skills, planning, creativity, problem-solving.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
4+ years SEM experience and success managing PPC campaigns across various digital platforms
Strong analytical skills and experience generating SEM reports and reporting to leadership
Previous experience in the airline industry (preferred)
