We’ve been using 3CX on premises for nearly two years now. I went into it knowing nothing about phone systems and 3CX resources allowed me to successfully install and manage a business phone system with not many issues.
What are the pros?
-Simple management
-Free training and certification
What are the cons?
One thing I personally don’t like is the support model. You have to go through a reseller for support tickets, otherwise you’re stuck with just posting in the community (which is still a good resource). I suppose this could be a benefit for an MSP, but for me as a lone admin that wants to manage his own stuff, I don’t like involving a third party for support.

Great Product
We were using the Barracuda Cudatel product when they discontinued it. We ran around looking for options and ran across 3CX. It did everything we needed. It even help us get rid of an aging Microsoft communicator program that we had been using. With the web meetings being an extra bonus. This is a great product that we can grow into. The built-in tunneling makes this great for our mobile users.
What are the pros?
Easy interface and the phones are easy to provision.
What are the cons?
The only con is that all users need to record their name for the company directory feature to work.

After version 15 everything is
After V15 everything all the issues that my clients had were fixed. I am starting to recommend this product to my clients.
